Gearhead Vets Mechanic Club

Wednesday nights, 6–9 PM. Veterans and non-vets wrench together on community projects — building skills, brotherhood, and a donated Tahoe for a local family.

The Club

Wrenching With Purpose

Gearhead Vets is the heartbeat of the ranch workshop — a weekly gathering where veterans, first responders, and community members roll up their sleeves and work side by side. No experience required, no judgment offered. Just tools, grease, and the kind of brotherhood that comes from solving a problem together.

Whether you've rebuilt engines for decades or have never held a wrench, there's a place for you at the bench. Our projects give the work of the hands a purpose: restoring vehicles and equipment that go back into the community — or into the hands of a family that needs them.

Project Tahoe

Right now the club is restoring a donated Chevy Tahoe — mechanical, electrical, and body work — to gift to a local family in need. Every Wednesday brings it closer to the road and closer to the family who'll drive it home.

  • Engine & drivetrain refresh
  • Brakes, suspension & safety systems
  • Bodywork & paint
  • Final detail & hand-off to the family

Who Can Join

All Skill Levels Welcome

You don't have to be a veteran, and you don't have to know a socket from a wrench. If you're willing to learn and lend a hand, the bay door is open.

Learn the Trade

Seasoned members teach the basics — oil changes, brake jobs, diagnostics — and let you turn the wrenches yourself.

Find Your People

The shop is a low-pressure space to talk, laugh, and build real friendships with folks who get it.

Give Back

Every build we complete goes to a family or organization in the community. Your hands make a difference.

See You Wednesday Night

Drop in at the ranch workshop any Wednesday at 6 PM, or reach out to let us know you're coming.
