About Patriot Ranch
A 501(c)(3) sanctuary in the Iowa heartland — built by patriots, for patriots, and for the community that stands behind them.
Kurt & Deanne Krumm
Patriot Ranch resides at the farm of Kurt and Deanne Krumm. After years of witnessing the void that can follow service, they committed their land and their lives to a single purpose: providing an atmosphere where veterans, first responders, and community members find fellowship, growth, and a reason to keep moving forward.
Their belief is simple — that the steady path forward begins where the horizon meets the heart, and that no patriot should walk it alone.
Our Core Values
Honor
We hold service above self, honoring every veteran and first responder who stood for their community.
Healing
The quiet of the Iowa plains, the bond with animals, and the company of peers restore what service can take.
Community
You don't have to have served to belong here. The ranch belongs to all who believe in lifting up those who gave.
How We Got Here
The Beginning
Kurt and Deanne Krumm opened their family farm to veterans and first responders who needed a place to breathe, build, and belong. What started as an open door became a mission.
Taking Root
Programs grew from the soil up — a mechanic club where hands stay busy, and fellowship nights that rebuild the bonds of service.
Today & Tomorrow
Patriot Ranch stands as Iowa's beacon of the heartland — a growing 501(c)(3) dedicated to fellowship, growth, and renewed purpose for every patriot who crosses the gate.
